All porting requests are fully managed by PBX Telecoms and follow a structured process:
- Submission of porting request
- Completion of signed Porting Authority Form
- Submission of a recent telephone account
- Validation with current service provider
- Porting confirmation and scheduling
- Activation on PBX Telecoms system
Porting lead times
- Individual numbers: 5–10 business days
- Number ranges: 10–20 business days
- Bulk or complex ports: subject to carrier timelines

Requirements
To initiate a porting request, the following is required:
- Completed and signed Porting Authority Form
- Copy of a recent telephone bill (all pages)
- Authorised signatory confirmation
- Stable internet connection with a minimum of 5 Mbps upload and download speed
Important information
- Existing services must remain active until the port is completed
- Porting is subject to approval by the current service provider
- Porting timelines may vary depending on third-party carrier processes
- Service continuity is maintained until successful cutover
